Opening Hours
Located at the edge of the county, Trestles is one of the premier surf spots in Orange County. Trestles consists of areas from north to south, Upper Trestles (Uppers), Lower Trestles (Lowers), and Middle Trestles (Middles). North of Upper Trestles is the surf spot called Cottons. South of Middles is the surf spot called The Church. It is named after Trestles Bridge, a wooden trestle bridge that surfers must walk under to reach the beach, replaced in 2012 by a concrete viaduct.
The water isn’t close to the typical parking which I’ve pinned but the 3/4 mile walk is an interesting and enjoyable one in itself. A bit of nature and bit of art 🙂 and most likely great surfing.
