Brea is the 8th oldest city in Orange County (est 1917) and has some really interesting history. The Brea Museum is a great place to learn the story of the history of Brea from its founding to the present. The exhibits tell the unique story of Brea and how this city fits in to the larger history of California and of the United States.experience and learn more about the history of the city. The Brea Museum is operated by the Brea Historical Society, a non-profit organization.
The museum is located in historic City Hall Park near the intersection of Brea Boulevard and Elm Street in Brea, Orange County, California. Admission is free. They are open on Thursdays from 2:00 to 5:00, on Saturdays from 10:00 to 3:00 and by appointment. Free parking is located behind the building.
